“Creativity is the natural order of life. Life is energy: pure creative energy.” Julia Cameron
Creativity truly lives within us all, and it’s not defined by the tools we use, the recognition we get, or the labels others give us. So let the energy flow. Cast aside the notion of needing more—more time, more tools, more approval. What you have is already enough. What you are is already whole. Just create. Because to create is to exist fully, and to exist fully is the most natural art of all.
This is all I’ve used to paint this tiny cards. Too often we get caught up in the need for fancy tools, all sorts of limitations that block us from creating. I want to invite you to just create! It’s essential to us. It’s innate to us. You don’t need anything to become creative. You already are. Art is a deeply personal and freeing expression of the self, and anyone who creates, explores, and feels joy in the process is an artist.
Too often, we surrender our creativity to the whispers of doubt, the myth that artistry requires grand tools or external validation. But what if the truth was simpler, softer? What if it was already breathing inside us?
To create is not to chase perfection; it is to commune with your essence. A humble brush, a scrap of paper, even the tender motion of your hand on a surface—these are enough. Creativity is born of presence. The tiny cards you paint, the quiet sketches you sketch, the melodies you hum—they are all an act of remembering, a reconnection to the artist you’ve always been.
Art is not a destination. It’s a way of being.
The world would have you think otherwise, that you must first achieve before you can declare yourself an artist. But the act of creating itself is the declaration. You are already enough, just as you are. If you are thinking or saying “But, I’m not an artist." Or "I’m not creative” think again. This is a free resource to help you explore and experiment with your artist within.
