These poems were written during a creative expedition on the Mont Blanc. Handwritten with a golden ink pen, each word is an encounter with the environment.
In summer 2018, I went on a creative expedition up and around the Mont Blanc crossing the border between France and Italy. As a symbol of my desire to create together with the elements, I took with me a golden ink pen and an handmade notebook. At every touch of my pen on the pages, made of an ecological algae, I encountered the environment. I went for the experience of deep paths, wild encounters and immense beauty. Surrounded by the vastness and majesty of the mountains, I heard the natural world asking to connect with everything around us as equals. Can you hear this invitation?

I Sat There
I sat there
Not where I had chosen
I sat there
Not where I was most comfortable
I sat there
Not were I could be invisible
I sat there
Where you asked me to hold a space
I sat there
Where I couldn't see
I sat there
Where I resisted you
I sat there
Where I didn't want to face my limits
I sat there
Where I had to surrender
I sat there
Where my hands had to create
I sat there to write the unknown
